Several Ansonia Youth Football teams participated this past weekend in the Lucas Oil Red Zone Games at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
The teams each played four, 10-minute games with the offense starting at the 20-yard line.
The 5th and 6th grade team played against teams from New Prairie, Granger and Wawasee, while the 3rd and 4th grade team played against teams from Hagerstown, Greensburg and Princeton.
Members of the varsity team (5th and 6th grade) are Logan Lewis, Peyton Kelch, Gavin Couch, Noe Hernandez, Leland Kauffman, Layne Bowman, Isabella Burk, Nathaniel Graf, Bryson Robinson, Joshua Robinson, Levi Staver, Kaden Stover, Isaac Macnutt and Conner Williams. The head coach is Mike Osterloh and assistant coaches are Eric Beisner and Jerry Duncan.
The junior varsity team (3rd and 4th grade) members are Jusiah Shafer, Braiden Westfall, Brett Widener, Kolton Stover, Blake Selhorst, Brayden Keel, William Aultman, Mathieu Baldridge, Christian Burk, Anastasia Burk, Malcom Diegal, Brayden Fritz , Gabe Fergerson, Cohen Gaynor, Colton Hull, Oden Hoening, Uzziah Hoening, Espen Hodge, Wyatt Homan and Kameron Ingle. The head coach is Keith Burk and the assistant coaches are Tom Hoening, Justin Fergerson and Robbie Ingle.
Youth teams from Greenville and Arcanum also competed in the event.
