TIPP CITY – Twin Valley South upset the Franklin Monroe volleyball team in the first round of the Ohio High School Athletic Association tournament on Monday at Tippecanoe High School.

Twin Valley South, the 15th seed in the Tipp City sectional, swept fifth-seeded Franklin Monroe 25-21, 25-20, 25-21 to eliminate the Jets from tournament play.

Morgan Booher led Franklin Monroe with 15 kills and 11 assists in the match. Sydney Bowser had a team-high four aces and also had a team-high 12 digs. Shania Baker had a team-leading three blocks.

Monday’s loss ended the high school volleyball careers of Franklin Monroe’s six seniors: Audrey Aslinger, Carrie Baker, Shania Baker, Morgan Booher, Sydney Bowser and Kelly Fourman.
