VERSAILLES – Versailles senior running back Collin Peters earned first team all-Midwest Athletic Conference honors from the league for the 2015 football season.

Versailles senior offensive guard Kyle Gigandet was named second team all-MAC.

The Tigers’ Corey Dieringer, Eric Knapke, Adam Lyons, Gavin Mills, Jonny Moorman, Kurtis Rutschilling and Denver Toner all earned honorable mention all-league honors.

Coldwater swept the MAC’s top honors with senior quarterback Jack Hemmelgarn being named the conference’s offensive player of the year and senior defensive lineman Malave Bettinger being named the conference’s defensive player of the year. Coldwater’s Chip Otten was named the MAC football coach of the year.

Coldwater won the MAC championship with an 8-0 conference record. Marion Local was the conference runner up with a 7-1 record, Fort Recovery and Minster both went 6-2 to tie for third place, and St. Henry finished fifth at 4-4.

Anna and Versailles tied for sixth place in the league standings as they both went 3-5 in the league. Parkway finished eighth with a 2-6 record, Delphos St. John’s finished ninth at 1-7, and New Bremen finished 10th at 0-8.
