DARKE COUNTY — The Daily Advocate is honoring individuals who excelled on the football field this year with an all-Darke County football team.

Below are The Daily Advocate’s choices for the all-Darke County football team for the 2015 season with 11 first team offensive players, 11 first team defensive players, two first team special teams players and 12 honorable mention selections.

First team all-Darke County

QB: Clay Guillozet, Greenville

The senior threw for 1,100 yards and 12 touchdowns and ran for 847 yards and six touchdowns.

RB: Mason Justice, Bradford

The junior was named Bradford’s co-offensive player of the year.

RB: Brandon Kinney, Arcanum

The junior ran for 1,204 yards and 21 touchdowns and caught four passes and two touchdowns.

RB: Collin Peters, Versailles

The senior ran for 1,184 yards and 15 touchdowns.

WR: Tyler Gunter, Bradford

The senior was named Bradford’s co-offensive player of the year.

OL: Kyle Gigandet, Versailles

The senior blocked for an offense that gained more than 1,300 rushing yards and more than 1,300 passing yards.

OL: Cambell Gostomsky, Arcanum

The junior helped lead the way for an offense that gained more than 3,000 yards on the ground.

OL: Eric Knapke, Versailles

The junior blocked for an offense that gained more than 1,300 rushing yards and more than 1,300 passing yards.

OL: Lukas Lowry, Greenville

The senior blocked for an offense that gained more than 1,600 rushing yards and more than 1,000 passing yards.

OL: Bailey Powell, Bradford

The senior was the player of the year for the Railroaders.

OL: Ross Shook, Ansonia

The freshman blocked for an offense that gained more than 2,200 rushing yards and almost 500 passing yards.

DL: Nick Buckingham, Ansonia

The senior made 39 tackles, had four sacks and forced a fumble.

DL: Dalton Geesy, MV

The senior made 56 tackles including 15 tackles for loss, had three sacks and recovered a fumble.

LB: Austin Baker, Arcanum

The senior made 52 tackles including 12 tackles for loss, forced a fumble and defended three passes.

LB: Logan Eldridge, Greenville

The junior made 91 tackles, had 1.5 sacks, intercepted two passes and scored one defensive touchdown.

LB: Jonny Moorman, Versailles

The junior made 90 tackles including three tackles for loss, had four sacks, forced a fumble and recovered a fumble.

LB: William Nibert Jr., Greenville

The senior made a GWOC-leading 116 tackles, recovered three fumbles and had two sacks.

LB: Nathan Rammel, MV

The senior had 39 tackles one tackle for loss and a sack.

LB: Hunter Saunders, Arcanum

The senior made 89 tackles including 12 tackles for loss, forced two fumbles and recovered a fumble.

DB: Corey Dieringer, Versailles

The senior made 52 tackles including a tackle for loss, had a sack, forced a fumble, recovered a fumble and intercepted two passes.

DB: Kyle Phillips, Greenville

The junior made 53 tackles and intercepted one pass.

DB: Dane Wentworth, Ansonia

The senior made 53 tackles and defended a pair of passes.

K: Christian Sanchez, Arcanum

The senior made three field goals and eight PATs.

P: Daniel O’Donnell, Arcanum

The senior was a playmaker on offense, defense and special teams and averaged 35.8 yards per punt.
