Greenville bowling teams place 16th at GWOC preseason meet

CENTERVILLE – The Greenville boys and girls bowling teams both placed 16th in the Greater Western Ohio Conference preseason tournament on Saturday at Poelking Lanes South.

The Greenville boys bowled games of 699, 644 and 639 to give them a three-game total of 2,002. The Green Wave then rolled games of 159, 160, 150, 132, 146 and 126 in the baker games to give them a total of 2,875. They finished fifth out of six teams in the GWOC North standings, placing ahead of Trotwood-Madison.

Cullen Blinn led the Greenville boys as he finished 21st overall with games of 166, 186 and 174 for a three-game total of 526.

Malachi Flatter bowled games of 155, 127 and 116 for a three-game total of 398.

Jonathon Holman bowled games of 150 and 109 for a two-game total of 259. Dylan Stepp rolled games of 129 and 119 for a total of 248. Tyler Netzley had games of 120 and 109 for a total of 229.

Mark Zeiler bowled a 121, Ted Klepinger rolled a 113, and Toby Potter bowled a 108.

The Greenville girls rolled games of 557, 662 and 582 for a three-game total of 1,801. They then rolled games of 149, 146, 91, 133, 158 and 143 in the baker games to give them a total of 2,621. They finished fifth out of five teams in the GWOC North standings.

Zoe Fields led Greenville with games of 118, 177 and 157 for a three-game total of 452, placing 32nd overall.

Mariah Kohlhorst finished 45th individually as she rolled games of 129, 135 and 144 for a total of 408. Alejandra Segura placed 54th individually as she rolled games of 116, 152 and 100 for a total of 368.

Leslie Miller finished 76th individually by bowling games of 117 and 91 for a two-game total of 208. Haley Dillman placed 83rd individually with games of 102 and 88 for a total of 190.

Maddison Treadway had a game of 90 and Jessica Rieman had a game of 86.
