Greenville boys basketball team suffers its 1st loss to Tecumseh

NEW CARLISLE – The Greenville boys basketball team suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday, losing 76-63 at Tecumseh.

Tecumseh took a 24-22 first quarter lead and extended its advantage to 43-32 at halftime. The Arrows increased their lead to 59-44 in the third quarter and won 76-63.

Aaron Rich led Greenville with 19 points in the game. Also for the Green Wave, Isaiah Gable scored 16 points, Peter Pandey scored 16, Trae Wood scored eight, Codi Byrd scored two, and Yuta Nakamura scored two.

Malik Quisenberry led Tecumseh with a game-high 31 points. Also for the Arrows, Darius Quisenberry scored 26 points, Clay Mastin scored 10, Brody Martin scored seven, and Ross Warren scored two.

Greenville is now 3-1 on the season. The Green Wave will play at Lebanon on Tuesday.
