GREENVILLE – The Greenville eighth grade girls basketball team split games this past week.
The Wave lost to undefeated Sidney 39-18 but defeated Northmont 36-23.
Morgan Gilbert, Haleigh Mayo, Natea Davidson, Riley Hunt and Makayla Hess combined for 43 points in the games.
The Wave have now defeated Springfield, Wayne, Trotwood-Madison and Northmont and will travel to Springfield on Jan. 5 to start the second round of the talented Greater Western Ohio Conference.
