ANSONIA — A former Ansonia High School boys basketball coach was arrested just after midnight Tuesday morning on a charge of sexual battery as a school authority, a third-degree felony, according to Darke County Jail records.

Eric Reaver Beisner, 26, of Ansonia, was arrested at 12:12 a.m. on Wood Street in Ansonia by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office. He is being held in Darke County Jail without bond awaiting arraignment.

A video arraignment is scheduled in Darke County Common Pleas Court for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Beisner was the junior varsity boys basketball coach for the 2014-15 season.
