Police seeking identity of suspected bank robber

RANDOLPH COUNTY, Ind. – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of robbing banks in the past couple of weeks.

On December 1, an unknown male entered Old National Bank in Winchester, Indiana demanding money from a teller. He then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency.

On December 7, a person believed to be the same unknown male walked into Citizen’s Bank in Dunkirk, Indiana also demanding money and again fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of US Currency. The male did not display a weapon, however, it is unknown as to whether or not he may be armed.

Eaton Police Department is also investigating a bank robbery that occurred on November 23 that could be related.

Police are asking if anyone knows the identity of the man to contact either the Winchester Police Department at 765-584-6891 or Dunkirk Police Department at 765-768-6061.
