VERSAILLES — Iris Lorene Nickol, 89, of Versailles, died March 15, 2016, at home. She was born Jan. 31, 1927, the daughter of Harry and Hazel Luzena.

She is survived by her husband, Fred, and two sons, Lawson (Mary Ann) of Arcanum and Reece (Karen) of Piqua. In addition she is survived by seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Booher, BJ, Ben, Matt, Seth, Lee, Jay, and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy (Gene) Luke of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania.

She was loved by all.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
