GREENVILLE — Elizabeth Varsanyi, 96, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at 6:35 p.m., Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at the Briarwood Village, in Coldwater, Ohio. Elizabeth was born August 30, 1920, in Hungary, Europe the daughter of the late Agoston and Julianna (Forhecz) Dobesh.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Nandor I. (Paula) Varsanyi, of Celina, and Fred (Anne) Varsanyi, of Columbus; her nephew, who she raised, Mihaly Polczer, of Hoboken, Georgia; grandchildren: Amy (Brent) Demoray, Michelle (Steve) Jones, Julie Varsanyi, Michael (Meagan) Varsanyi, Alison Varsanyi, Nicholas (Missy) Varsanyi, Pamela Shepherd, Laura Ahrens and Jennifer Lyons; nine great grandchildren and one great – great granddaughter.

Burial was in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
