Bradford 8th grade volleyball team defeats Troy Christian


BRADFORD – Bradford’s eighth grade volleyball team beat Troy Christian 25-23, 19-25, 25-15 on Monday.

Nylani Beireis had five ace serves and one assist. Zoe Brewer had four service points, three of which were aces. Rylee Canan had five ace serves, two kills and one set. Abby Fike had 12 service points including six aces while also having five sets including two assists. Maddie Simons had one ace serve, one set and one kill. Ally Wackler had five service points including four aces and also had an assist. Karissa Weldy had one service point and one kill. Ramse Smith had one ace serve and one assist.

Bradford’s seventh grade team lost 25-17, 25-17 to Troy Christian.

Courtney Riffell had three service points, two of which were aces. Leah Welch had two service points including an ace. Remi Harleman had eight service points, four of which were ace serves. Bella Brewer had one ace serve.

Bradford will play host to Mississinawa Valley at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
