ARCANUM — A book, “The Encyclopedia of Gardening,” was donated to the Arcanum Public Library recently by the Arcanum Garden Club in memory of Marion Cooper.

Cooper was a long-standing member of the club. The book was presented by President Abby Cutright and Past President Kathy Fout to Marilyn Walden, director of the library.

“Whenever a garden club member passes away, a gardening book is donated to the library in her memory,” a spokesperson said. “Check out this section at the library and remember those who have contributed so much to this community.”
