DAYTON, Ohio – An estimated 40,000 people attended the 41st annual Vectren Dayton Air Show Presented by Kroger held at Dayton International Airport this weekend. Due to rainy weather, show attendance was down from normal.

Despite the wet conditions thousands attended the show to see some of the top aerobatic performers in the world including the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, Breitling Jet Team from France, F-18 Super Hornet, the legendary Sean D. Tucker and others. The show also had a wide range of aircraft displays and ground activities on hand for spectators to enjoy.

“We are pleased with the number of people that attended despite the rain” stated Michael Emoff, Chairman of the United States Air & Trade Show Board of Trustees, producers of the event. “Our thanks to the fans, volunteers and sponsors for their support of the show year after year.”

Plans are already underway for the 2016 show which will feature the U.S. Navy Blue Angels on June 18th and 19th. Later this year other 2016 feature attractions will be announced. Visit daytonairshow.com for updates and further information.
