Davis to compete at national rodeo

DENVER, Colo. — Mo Davis, a ninth-grader at Ansonia High Schoool, has earned a position on the Indiana state National High School rodeo team and will be traveling with teammates to Rock Springs, Wyoming, July 12-18 to compete at the 67th annual National High School Finals Rodeo.

Davis will compete in the goat tying competition.

Featuring more than 1,500 contestants from 42 states, five Canadian provinces and Australia, the NHSFR is the world’s largest rodeo. Contestants compete for more than $200,000 in prizes and more than $350,000 in college scholarships, as well as a National Champion title.
