Former resident and AHS grad, Andrew Buck Michael and his wife, Dawn Colleen, welcomed a daughter on June 10. Little Summer Rain Michael entered the world weighing 7 pounds, 1 ounce at 3:26 a.m. and measured 20.5 inches in length. Andy and his wife are both meteorologists in Columbus, Ohio, and did not find out the baby’s gender prior to her arrival, so they were having bets on what people thought the baby would be. Happy grandparents are Georgia and Terry Michael and Mary and Ed Ivancic. Summer is the first grandchild on both sides of the family. Great-grandparents are Judy and Giles Galbraith, Jean Michael and Gerry Cummins. Congratulations on your little girl!

It’s a girl for former residents and AHS graduates, Justin Miller and Angie (Campbell) Miller. Hayden Aria Miller arrived on July 16 at 10:20 a.m. weighing 7 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 20 inches long. Justin and Angie currently reside in North Las Vegas, Nevada, with Hayden’s big sister Harper. Proud grandparents are Patti and Scott Campbell, Teresa Berger and Michael Miller. Great-grandparents are Winston and Jeanie Brumbaugh, Roger and Phyllis Campbell and Shirley Baker.

“You know, when you get your first asparagus, or your first acorn squash, or your first really good tomato of the season, those are the moments that define the cook’s year. I get more excited by that than anything else.” ~Mario Batali
