GREENVILLE – Greenville Fire Department Chief Mark Wolf issued a warning to residents Friday that an organization out of Illinois has been calling people on their behalf without authorization.

Wolf said the organization is falsely soliciting money for the purpose of producing an ad calendar or memo board for distribution by the fire department.

“This solicitation has not been authorized by me or the administration of the City of Greenville. Please do not respond to the solicitation,” urges Wolf.
