Tri-Village defeats Ansonia

GREENVILLE – The Tri-Village boys golf team beat Ansonia 177-256 on Thursday in a Cross County Conference match at White Springs Golf Club.

Tri-Village’s Brett Boyter led all golfers with a nine-hole round of 42. Also for the Patriots, Brandon Peters shot a 43, Tyler VanWinkle shot a 44, Knox Morris shot a 48, Gage Hileman shot a 50, and Luke Wheeler shot a 51.

Lake Clark led Ansonia with a round of 56. Also for the Tigers, Trent Rader shot a 59, Logan Miller shot a 69, Zac Longenecker shot a 72, and Connor Lee shot a 77.
