DELPHOS – The Versailles boys golf team suffered its first loss of the season on Wednesday, losing 165-167 to Delphos St. John’s in a Midwest Athletic Conference match.

Griffen Riegle led Versailles with a nine-hole round of 40. Also for the Tigers, Nicholas Litten-Stonebraker shot a 42, Jacob Watren shot a 42, Michael Hemmelgarn shot a 43, Kyle Cotner shot a 46, and Connor Custenborder shot a 50.

Derek Klausing led St. John’s with a round of 38. Also for the Blue Jays, Austin Lucas shot a 40, Adam Gerker shot a 42, Brandon Slate shot a 45, Ellutle Courtney shot a 51, and Ryan Dickman shot a 58.

Versailles fell to 3-1 overall and in the MAC with the loss.
