GREENVILLE – The Greenville junior high girls tennis team lost 4-1 to Miami Valley in its season opener on Saturday.

Greenville’s lone win came at second singles where Abby Swensen won 6-3, 6-2. In first singles Greenville’s Natalie Milligan lost 6-4, 6-3. In third singles the Lady Wave’s Addie Haupt lost 7-6, 6-0.

In first doubles Greenville’s Madison Klosterman and Felicity Lance lost 6-3, 6-3. In second doubles the Wave’s Sarah McDaniel and Faith Mansfield lost 6-3, 7-6.
