WEST CARROLLTON – The Greenville girls tennis team moved above .500 for the season on Thursday as the Lady Wave swept West Carrollton 5-0.
In first singles Greenville’s Anja Mertel beat Aryane Trent 6-2, 6-3. In second singles the Lady Wave’s Anna Mangas beat Natalie Hart 6-0, 6-1. In third singles the Wave’s Marabelle Lance beat Daejah Hastings 6-0, 6-1.
In first doubles Greenville’s duo of Molly Hunt and Mallory Rich beat Cara Cummins and Lucy Shriver 6-2, 6-1. In second doubles the Lady Wave’s Hannah Gulley and Larisa Schmitmeyer beat Bethany Hurd and Carlee Bohn 6-2, 6-0.
Greenville improved to 7-6 with the win.
In junior varsity action Greenville’s doubles team of Chloe Graves and Casey Malott, Amber Hutt and Jordyn Warren plus Rose Blocher and Katie Baughman all won.
