VERSAILLES – The Versailles boys golf team beat Coldwater 158-168 in a Midwest Athletic Conference match on Thursday at Stillwater Valley Golf Club.

Versailles’ Nicholas Litten-Stonebraker was the co-medalist for the meet as he shot a one-over-par 36 for the nine-hole round. Also for the Tigers, Griffen Riegle shot a 38, Kyle Cotner shot a 40, Jacob Watren shot a 44, Michael Hemmelgarn shot a 45, and Austin Pleiman shot a 67.

Tyler Kanney led Coldwater with a 36. Also for the Cavaliers, Jarren Kunk shot a 41, Ben Meyer shot a 44, Trey Wolters shot a 47, Andrew Fisher shot a 49, and Ben Schmitmeyer shot a 54.

Versailles improved to 6-1 overall and in the MAC with the win.

Versailles’ junior varsity lost 210-219 to Coldwater. For Versailles Connor Custenborder shot a 49, Alex Keiser shot a 51, Alec Ahrens shot a 52, and Austin Pleiman shot a 67.
