OSGOOD – Osgood State Bank (OSB) kicked off their 100 year celebration with a dinner, where several of the bank employees dressed as though they were in the 1915 era.

OSB has been and will continue to share this milestone celebration with their communities throughout 2015. They will be hosting a few more events as well as some additional customer appreciation days within their branches.

“Throughout the past 100 years, the financial industry has endured the Great Depression, many recessions, and ever-increasing regulatory oversight. Without the support of the shareholders, board members, employees and communities – both past and present – OSB would not be here,” said a bank representative.

“I am extremely excited to mark this milestone. I’m also proud that we are a strong community bank- one in which we know our customers by name, and that our employees actively give back to the communities we serve,” said Osgood State Bank President Tony Kaiser.

In recognition of this 100 year milestone, Independent Community Bankers of America’s, Camden R. Fine, President and CEO of ICBA stated, “It’s community banks like The Osgood State Bank which drive economic stability and prosperity on Main Street and make their communities a better place to work and live. They are the definition of relationship bankers, passionately committed to serving the needs of their local customers and communities.”

Osgood State Bank opened its doors one century ago in 1915. Today, they operate out of four branch locations; Osgood, Fort Loramie, Chickasaw and Indian Lake. Osgood State Bank offers full service banking, consumer and commercial loans, Internet banking and much more.
