ST. PARIS – The Versailles junior varsity boys golf team picked up its first win of the season on Tuesday as the Tigers beat Miami East 215-224 at Lakeland Golf Club.

Michael Hemmelgarn led Versailles with a nine-hole round of 49. Also for the Tigers, Austin Pleiman shot a 52, Connor Custenborder shot a 56, Alec Ahrens shot a 58, Alex Keiser shot a 64, and Brennan Gaier shot a 74.

Versailles’ junior varsity team is now 1-7 on the season.
