ARCANUM – The Arcanum volleyball team swept Tri-Village in Cross County Conference play Tuesday, 25-15, 25-6, 25-9.

Leading Arcanum was Brittany Kinney with 14 assists and Shai Robinson with 14 kills. Strong serving from Becca Deao and Alexis Abner accounted for eight aces and more than 40 points.

Allie Downing and Lauren Flory led Tri-Village with three kills each. Megan Poling had a team-high seven assists. Kara Hollinger had a team-leading seven digs. Downing also had a block for Tri-Village. Downing and Autaum Moore both had an ace.

The Trojans improved to 14-5 overall and 8-1 in the CCC with the win. Tri-Village fell to 4-12 overall and 1-8 in the CCC.

Arcanum’s junior varsity won in two sets to remain undefeated in the CCC. (9-0)

Arcanum travels to Newton on Thursday for a big conference battle against the Indians. Tri-Village will play host to Twin Valley South on Thursday.
