Mississinawa Valley graduate Mallory Livingston on academic all-district list

RICHMOND, Ind. – Indiana University East senior Mallory Livingston (Union City, Ohio/Mississinawa Valley High School) has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District College Division women’s volleyball team for District 2.

Livingston is one of 10 honorees on the District 2 College Division Academic All-District list, which includes NAIA and two-year schools from Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana and Tennessee.

First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team all-America honorees will be selected later this month.

Livingston leads the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and is 25th in the nation with 3.79 kills per set. She is the reigning KIAC and Northeast Region Player of the Year.

Livingston is a psychology major. This is her second appearance on the CoSIDA Academic All-District list.

IU East (23-14) competes at the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament Nov. 13 and 14 at the University of Rio Grande.
