Police investigate two-car crash on Wagner

GREENVILLE — Units from Greenville Police and Fire Departments and Greenville Township Rescue responded to a two-vehicle collision on Wagner Avenue Monday afternoon.

At approximately 3 p.m., a black Toyota Yaris collided with a white Oldsmobile Alero on Wagner Avenue at the entrance to Buckeye Square Plaza. An officer at the scene stated the driver of the Alero may have been attempting to exit Buckeye Square Plaza when struck by the northbound Yaris, but was unsure of which direction the Alero was originally headed.

The two occupants of the Yaris, a male driver and female passenger, were transported by Greenville Township Rescue to Wayne HealthCare with undetermined injuries. The driver of the Alero did not require medical treatment.

The accident remains under investigation by the Greenville Police Department.
