GREENVILLE – The Greenville eighth grade girls basketball recently won two games.

The Wave defeated Springfield 25-22. Haleigh Mayo led the scoring with 11 points, Riley Hunt added six and Morgan Gilbert five.

The Wave also defeated Piqua 47-23. Gilbert scored 15 points while Addie Haupt added 11, Annie Hayes six and Riley Hunt 5. Caitlin Christman, Makayla Miller and Natea Davidson combined for six more.

The Wave have won three in a row for their sixth win in the powerful Greater Western Ohio Conference.

Greenville travels to undefeated Sidney on Tuesday.
