GREENVILLE — Tina McClanahan is back!

In healthcare since 1995, she was named the sales manager of Brookdale, formerly Sterling House, of Greenville on Nov. 9, 2015; thus, she brings 20 years of experience in healthcare.

“Brookdale just went through a renovation,” said McClanahan, oversees sales and marketing. “Brookdale has the only specialized memory care in Darke County. Some of our staff are certified Dementia/Alzheimer’s practitioners and the remaining staff receive ongoing specialized training as well.

Brookdale, she said, has 24 memory care apartments and 42 assisted living apartments.

She feels like she is in the medical field because of what her mother, Irma Hocker, is going through.

“Mom has Multiple Sclerosis and I have been watching her digress,” she said. “I have found the appropriate placement for her where her needs can be met. She has been here for four years now. It is a personal mission of mine.”

McClanahan, is a 1981 graduate of Greenville High School and is married to Kyle McClanahan, the mother of four sons, Ryan and Jessica McClanahan, Matthew Barga, Micah Barga, and Christopher Barga, and grandmother of two, Addie, 4 and Colin, 2.

Those wanting information or who would like to take a tour of the facility can feel free to call McClanahan at 548-6800.
