Tri-Village girls place 4th, boys 6th at Bellefontaine powerlifting meet

BELLEFONTAINE – The Tri-Village girls placed fourth and the boys placed sixth at Bellefontaine’s 12-team powerlifting meet on Saturday.

Harding Stevenson won the ninth-10th grade boys 250 pound class as he lifted 195 pounds in the bench press and 385 pounds in the deadlift for a total of 580 pounds. Seth Earls won the 11th-12th grade boys 250 pound and above weight class by lifting 340 pounds in the bench press and 605 in the deadlift for a total of 945 pounds.

Cassidy Ditty won the ninth-10th grade girls 185 pound class by lifting 80 pounds in the bench press and 200 in the deadlift for a total of 280 pounds. Natasha Napier won the ninth-10th grade girls 135 pound class by lifting 70 pounds in the bench press and 200 in the deadlift for a total of 270 pounds.

Katherine Banis won the 11th-12th grade girls 125 pound class by lifting 70 pounds in the bench press and 205 in the deadlift for a total of 275 pounds. Courtney Banis won the 11th-12th grade girls 145 pound class by lifting 65 pounds in the bench press and 210 pounds in the deadlift for a total of 275 pounds.

Madison Taylor placed second in the ninth-10th grade girls 155 pound class by lifting 90 pounds in the bench press and 205 in the deadlift for a total of 295 pounds. Lauren Banis placed second in the ninth-10th grade girls 185 pound class by lifting 85 pounds in the bench press and 195 in the deadlift for a total of 280 pounds.

Holly Back placed third in the ninth-10th grade girls 155 pound class by lifting 80 pounds in the bench press and 200 in the deadlift for a total of 280 pounds. Marissa Roark placed third in the ninth-10th grade girls 185 pound class by lifting 80 pounds in the bench press and 190 in the deadlift for a total of 270 pounds.

Ian Bailey placed third in the ninth-10th grade boys 250 pound class as he lifted 180 pounds in the bench press and 310 in the deadlift for a total of 490 pounds.

Ashley Penny placed fourth in the ninth-10th grade girls 185 pound and higher class by lifting 75 pounds in the bench press and 185 in the deadlift for a total of 260 pounds.

Foster Brown placed fourth in the ninth-10th grade boys 125 pound class by lifting 80 pounds in the bench press and 180 in the deadlift for a total of 260 pounds. Aaron Stewart placed fourth in the ninth-10th grade boys 145 pound class as he lifted 175 pounds in the bench press and 300 in the deadlift for a total of 475 pounds.

Trevor Mote placed fourth in the ninth-10th grade boys 185 pound class by lifting 145 pounds in the bench press and 250 in the deadlift for a total of 395 pounds. Dagan White placed fourth in the ninth-10th grade boys 225 pound class by lifting 175 pounds in the bench press and 355 in the deadlift for a total of 530 pounds.

Tyler Bragg placed fifth in the ninth-10th grade boys 250 pound and above weight class as he lifted 160 pounds in the bench press and 315 pounds in the deadlift for a total of 475 pounds. Charlie Bailey placed fifth in the 11th-12th grade boys 185 pound class by lifting 155 pounds in the bench press and 320 in the deadlift for a total of 475 pounds.

Brienna Dunlap lifted 60 pounds in the bench press and 175 pounds in the deadlift in the ninth-10th grade girls 155 pound class.

Nick Varvel lifted 70 pounds in the bench press and 165 pounds in the deadlift for a total of 235 pounds in the ninth-10th grade boys 145 pound class. Dillon Holsapple lifted 115 pounds in the bench press and 220 in the deadlift for a total of 335 pounds in the ninth-10th grade boys 175 pound class. Dalton Barga lifted 90 pounds in the bench press and 230 in the deadlift for a total of 320 in the ninth-10th grade boys 175 pound class.

Kendrick Wahsum lifted 110 pounds in the bench press and 195 in the deadlift for a total of 305 in the ninth-10th grade boys 165 pound class. Nick Napier lifted 235 pounds in the bench press and 390 in the deadlift for a total of 625 pounds in the 11th-12th grade boys 250 pound class. Kirk Bradley lifted 100 pounds in the bench press and 220 in the deadlift for a total of 320 pounds in the 11th-12th grade boys 175 pound class.

Tri-Village will host its sixth annual powerlifting meet on Saturday.
