KETTERING – The Greenville boys basketball team lost 87-63 to Columbus Northland in the Flyin’ To The Hoop invitational on Saturday afternoon at Fairmont’s Trent Arena.
Greenville only trailed 24-21 through one quarter, but Northland pushed its lead to 47-38 at halftime. The Vikings increased their lead to 67-48 in the third quarter en route to 87-63 win.
All 67 of Greenville’s points were scored by the starters with Clay Guillozet leading the way with 27 points, Isaiah Gable scoring 21, Aaron Rich scoring seven, Peter Pandey scoring five, and Devin Hendrix scoring three.
Greenville fell to 7-4 with the loss. The Green Wave will travel to Trotwood-Madison Tuesday and play the Rams for first place in the Greater Western Ohio Conference North Division.
