SPRINGFIELD – The Bradford powerlifting team competed at Kenton Ridge on Saturday, and 21 of the 29 Railroader lifters placed at the meet.
Cheyenne Parke won the 11th-12th grade girls 115 pound class and set a meet record by lifting 240 pounds in the deadlift. Lillian Elleman won the ninth-10th grade girls 195 pound and above weight class.
Hunter Penkal won the ninth-10th grade boys 165 pound class.
Bryson Canan in the 11th-12th grade boys 145 pound class, Jacob Mcquinn in the ninth-10th grade boys 185 pound class, Jarrett Boggs in the ninth-10th grade boys 250 pound class and Baily Powell in the 11th-12th grade boys 250 pound class all finished as runners up.
Michelle Bixler in the ninth-10th grade girls 145 pound class and Rebekah Lavey in the 11th-12th grade girls 195 and above class both placed third.
Larkin Painter in the ninth-10th grade boys 145 pound class and Brandon Mitchell in the 11th-12th grade boys 205 pound class both finished third.
Brant Helman in the ninth-10th grade boys 185 pound class finished fourth.
Olivia Daugherty in the ninth-10th grade girls 100 pound class and Hannah Stine in the ninth-10th grade girls 125 pound class both placed fourth.
Breanna Bixler in the ninth-10th grade girls 100 pound class and Bryclyn Hoop in the ninth-10th grade girls 155 pound class both finished fifth.
Ethan Reed in the ninth-10th grade boys 175 pound class, Cory Cotrell in the ninth-10th grade boys 195 pound class and Cole Gambill in the ninth-10th grade boys unlimited class each placed fifth.
Daryen Booker in the 11th-12th grade boys 175 pound class and Kalab Addington in the 11th-12th grade boys 165 pound class both finished sixth.
The Bradford powerlifting team will compete on Saturday at Kenton High School.
