SIDNEY – Lehman Catholic mounted a second half comeback to defeat the Arcanum girls basketball team 39-36 on Saturday.
Arcanum took a 13-12 first quarter lead and extended it to 21-16 at halftime. Lehman reduced the Arcanum lead to a single point, 29-28, in the third quarter and outscored the Trojans 11-7 in the fourth quarter for the three-point win.
Rebecca Deao led Arcanum with nine points in Saturday’s game. Also for the Lady Trojans, Alexis Abner scored eight points, McKenzie Sharritts scored eight, Stevie Johnting scored six, Madison O’Daniel scored three, and Elle Siculan scored two.
Allie Hall led Lehman with 12 points in the game. Also for the Cavaliers, Alanna O’Leary scored 10 points, Hannah Fogt scored seven, Grace Monnin scored four, Carly Edwards scored two, Maddy McFarland scored two, and Brogan McIver scored two.
Arcanum fell to 12-9 with the loss while Lehman Catholic improved to 9-10.
Arcanum will finish the regular season on Thursday at Bethel.
