LIMA – Darke County’s West Ohio High School Bowling Conference teams went winless in the WOHSBC divisional playoffs on Saturday at Westgate Lanes in Lima.
The Ansonia girls lost 1,971-1,808 to Van Wert. Jordan Campbell led Ansonia with games of 130 and 160, Madison Stover had games of 136 and 146, Meghan Wilson had games of 123 and 128, Katlynn Yeagle had games of 99 and 97, Molly Walls had a 130, and Rebecca Thornhill had a 94.
The Mississinawa Valley girls lost 2,389-2,056 to Lima Shawnee. Kayla Harris led Mississinawa Valley with games of 147 and 193, Spencer Warren had games of 195 and 143, Tiffany Westfall had games of 126 and 140, Trinity Konwiczka had games of 136 and 124, and Payton Reichard had games of 106 and 136.
The Versailles girls lost 2,322-2,219 to St. Marys. Olivia Bruening led Versailles with games of 168 and 195, Brigette Holsapple had games of 168 and 147, Hannah Niekamp had games of 150 and 138, and Brooke Condon had a 171.
The Ansonia boys lost 2,340-968 to Temple Christian. John Fischer led Ansonia with games of 157 and 185, Sam Rhoades had games of 77 and 92, and Allen Christman had games of 82 and 68.
The Mississinawa Valley boys lost 2,422-2,209 to Lima Central Catholic. Joe Teeter led Mississinawa Valley with games of 195 and 187, Alex Longfellow had games of 196 and 140, Brandon White had a 169, Dominic Rammel had a 134, Dilyn Rammal had a 117, and Andrew Reichard had a 105.
The Versailles boys lost 2,828-2,559 to St. Marys. Alex Groff led Versailles with games of 227 and 219, Luke Shellhass had games of 201 and 166, Aydan Moran had games of 183 and 157, Brody Hyre had games of 160 and 180, and Michael Hemmelgarn had a 155.
The teams now will start the Ohio High School Athletic Association tournament.
The Ansonia, Mississinawa Valley and Versailles girls bowling teams will compete in the sectional tournament at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Poelking Marian Lanes in Huber Heights.
