They are excited to once again offer home party and craft vendors and the public the opportunity to join their Relay For Life team and help raise funds for the American Cancer Society all the while shopping for Mother’s and Father’s Day or perhaps gifts for oneself.

Funds raised by the Relay For Life team for the American Cancer Society are used in many ways in the local community as well as the state and country. This week in Ohio…more than 1,154 people will be told “You have cancer;” and in Shelby County…five will hear those words. The American Cancer Society can help all of them. Today in Ohio…more than 2,400 people will find answers to their questions about cancer through 1-800-227-2345 and Some of those may be neighbors or friends or family.

“Thanks to your support, more than 14.5 million people in America who have had cancer and countless more who have avoided it will be celebrating birthdays this year,” said the spokesperson. “Today, the American Cancer Society is helping save more than 500 lives a day. Please join us and take action against a disease that has taken too much.”
