FORT JEFFERSON — The mother-daughter program at Fort Jefferson United Methodist Church will be at 4 p.m. May 1.
The program will be presented by Sue Vickroy, who portrays a Kentucky pioneer in the 1800s and tells about her life and how she got there. She will be dressed in that period.
Those who plan to attend are asked to bring a salad or dessert. The church will furnish the sandwiches.
The men of the church will serve the meal.
