Greenville boys tennis team sweeps Trotwood-Madison

TROTWOOD – The Greenville boys tennis team swept Trotwood-Madison 5-0 in a Greater Western Ohio Conference match on Tuesday.

In first singles Greenville’s Noah Haupt beat Kobe Vinegar 6-2, 6-1. In the second singles match the Green Wave’s Craig Manges swept Tre Battle 6-0, 6-0. In third singles the Wave’s Quintin Muhlenkamp beat Luke Hogan 6-0, 6-1.

In the first doubles match the Green Wave’s Alex Lance and Tyler Davis beat George Walker and Jay Nelloms 6-1, 6-0. In second doubles Greenville’s Austin Grote and Josh Smith beat Anthony Parker and Titus Hogan 6-0, 6-2

Greenville improved to 8-5 overall and 2-2 in the GWOC North with the win while Trotwood-Madison fell to 4-8 overall and 1-3 in the GWOC North.

Greenville’s Max Onkst and Bryan Day won in an extra match.
