Mississinawa Valley baseball team shuts out New Bremen

UNION CITY – The Mississinawa Valley baseball team shut out New Bremen for a 1-0 victory on Monday.

Mississinawa Valley had six hits and one error. New Bremen had three hits and no errors.

Mississinawa scored the game’s lone run in the bottom half of the fourth inning. Devan Rinderle drove in Ethan Bowman for the Blackhawks’ run.

Tyler Jenkinson went 2-for-4 with a double for Mississinawa Valley. Colyn Nelson was 1-for-1. Kyler Guillozet and Andrew Johns both went 1-for-2. Levin Livingston was 1-for-3.

Trent Collins pitched the complete game for MV, allowing no runs on three hits, two walks and nine strikeouts.
