Ohio Republican Party elects new Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer to party leadership

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Republican Party’s State Central Committee reccently voted to elect Assistant Treasurer Tracey Winbush (Youngstown) as Treasurer. Tracey represents the 33rd State Central Committee district.

“I am humbled to be a member of our Ohio Republican Party’s leadership as we work to move our Party forward. Our party in Ohio is strong and I am certain that we’ll continue that success in November,” said Tracey Winbush.

The election for Treasurer created a subsequent vacancy for the role of Assistant Treasurer. State Central Committee members voted to elect Stephanie Garrett (West Alexandria) to serve as Assistant Treasurer. Stephanie represents the 5th State Central Committee district.

“I am honored to serve as an officer of our Party as we help support and elect Republicans in November. I look forward to helping our Party promote the principles that conservatives hold dear: smaller government, fiscal responsibility and personal freedom,” said Stephanie Garrett.

The other leadership positions remain unchanged.

Ohio Republican Party Chairman Matt Borges said, “We have had tremendous success in the Ohio Republican Party over the last several years and I am confident that Tracey and Stephanie will continue to provide strong and steady counsel as we grow our Party and work to elect Republican candidates in the fall.”
