CAMDEN – The Tri-Village baseball team lost 7-6 at Preble Shawnee on Tuesday.
After Preble Shawnee scored the game’s first run in the first inning, Tri-Village took a 3-1 lead in the top half of the second. Preble Shawnee regained the lead with four runs in the second and two in the sixth before Tri-Village scored the game’s final three runs in the seventh.
Tri-Village had 11 hits and two errors in the game. Preble Shawnee had five hits and one error.
Jordan Buckley was charged with the loss as he pitched 1 1/3 innings, allowing five runs and walking five. Christian Ricker pitched 4 2/3 innings in relief, allowing two runs and striking out three.
Jonny Wilson went 3-for-3 with two doubles for the Patriots. Tanner Maples was 3-for-4 with a double and a RBI. Jorden Midlam was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs.
Tri-Village fell to 11-9 with the loss.
