COLUMBUS — Senate President Keith Faber (R-Celina) on Wednesday recognized Mississinawa Valley High School student-athlete Joseph Teeter following his victory at the 2016 Division II boys bowling state championship.
“Joseph has made the Mississinawa Valley community extremely proud in bringing home the Division II state bowling title,” Faber said. “He has set a strong example for his teammates to strive for next season and I look forward to their future success.”
En route to the state title, Teeter beat out 83 of Ohio’s top young bowlers and set the Division II record by scoring a 748 in his three-game series.
The Mississinawa Valley High School student is only the second student in the district’s history to qualify for the state tournament.
