GREENVILLE — R. Kelly Ormsby III, Prosecuting Attorney for Darke County, has released the names of defendants recently indicted by grand jury:
Peter N. Cheadle, 27, of Palestine, was indicted on a charge of domestic violence, a fourth-degree felony, based upon an investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office. Bond was set at $75,000, and Randall Breaden was appointed his attorney.
Diana E. Mitchell, 24, address unknown, was indicted on a charge of possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, based upon an investigation by the Greenville Police Department. Bond was set at $50,000, and Randall Breaden was appointed as attorney.
Jesse E. Steen, 27, of Greenville, was indicted on two counts of domestic violence, fourth-degree felonies, and one count of resisting arrest, a first-degree misdemeanor, based upon an investigation by the Greenville Police Department. Bond was set at $25,000, and David Rohrer was assigned as his attorney.
Christopher L. Richmond, 37, of Richmond, Indiana, was indicted on a charge of burglary, a second-degree felony, based upon an investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office. Bond was set at $25,000, and Randall Breaden was appointed as his attorney.
Londa A. Jones, 44, of Richmond, Indiana, was indicted on a charge of burglary, a second-degree felony, based upon an investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office. Bond was set at $25,000, and David Rohrer was assigned as defense attorney.
Dennis R. Johnson, 57, of Greenville, was indicted on a charge of receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony, based upon an investigation by the Greenville Police Department. He was released on an own recognizance bond. David Rohrer is serving as his attorney.
Dustin M. Sonner, 24, of Greenville, was indicted on a charge of burglary, a second-degree felony, based upon an investigation by the Greenville Police Department. He was released on an own recognizance bond and was assigned David Rohrer as attorney.
Ryan J. Hiestand, 29, of Greenville, was indicted on three counts of grand theft, fourth-degree felonies, and two counts of breaking and entering, fifth-degree felonies, based upon an investigation by the Greenville Police Department. He was released on an own recognizance bond and assigned Randall Breaden to represent him.
Joseph M. Walters, 35, of Union City, Ohio, was indicted on a charge of safecracking, a fourth-degree felony; theft of credit card, a fifth-degree felony; and petty theft, a first-degree misdemeanor, based upon an investigation by the Greenville Police Department. He was released on his own recognizance and retained Paul Wagner as his attorney.
Steven T. Paul, 62, of Greenville, was indicted on a charge of possession of cocaine and possession of heroin based upon an investigation by the Greenville Police Department. The indictment was dismissed by the prosecution upon learning that the defendant is terminally ill; therefore, prosecution of the case would not be in the interest of justice.
