













ARCANUM – The Greenville girls finished in the middle of the pack of the American North in the Greater Western Ohio Conference’s preseason golf meet on Friday at Beechwood Golf Course.
Greenville shot a 476 in the tournament to finish third out of five American North teams. Piqua won the division title with a 445, Tippecanoe was second with a 447, Vandalia-Butler was fourth with a 484, and Troy was fifth with a 493.
For the entire GWOC, the Greenville girls finished 10th out of 20 teams. Centerville won the tournament with a 308, Miamisburg was second with a 351, Springboro finished third with a 352, Northmont was fourth with a 416, Fairmont was fifth with a 425, Lebanon was sixth with a 434, Beavercreek placed seventh with a 442, Piqua was eighth with its 445, Tippecanoe was ninth with its 476, Butler was 11th with its 484, Troy was 12th with its 493, and Wayne finished 13th with a 501.
Jada Garland led Greenville with an 18 hole round of 104. Also for the Lady Wave, Ashley Karns shot a 107 to place 34th, Kourtney Kretschmar finished 60th with a 128, Victoria Landis was 70th with a 137, Madelyn Breig was 73rd with a 140, and Kelli Kretschmar finished 74th with a 146.
Centerville’s Amanda Hayes won the GWOC championship with a round of 74. Tippecanoe’s Taylor Hudson was the top American North golfer with a round of 98, placing 15th overall.
