MINSTER – The Versailles girls golf team suffered its first loss of the season on Monday, losing by one stroke, 198-199, to Minster at Arrowhead Golf Club.

Versailles’ Lauren Heitkamp was the match medalist as she shot a 40 on the back nine at Arrowhead. Also for the Tigers, Lauren Durham shot a 48, Anna Groff shot a 52, Taylor Martin shot a 59, Morgan Heitkamp shot a 60, and Jorja Pothast shot a 67.

Lisa Borges led Minster with a round of 47. Also for the Wildcats, Ali Borgerding shot a 48, Hannah Koenig shot a 49, Sarah Huwer shot a 54, Taylor Homan shot a 59, and Paige Philips shot a 67.

Versailles fell to 4-1 overall and 2-1 in the Midwest Athletic Conference with the loss.
