PITSBURG – Franklin Monroe beat Newton in four sets in a Cross County Conference volleyball match on Thursday, 24-26, 25-21, 25-18, 25-19.
Corina Conley led Franklin Monroe with 14 kills in the match while Makenzie Kreitzer added 13. Conley and Kreitzer both had three blocks.
Emilee Morris had a team-high 23 digs, and Chloe Peters added 22. Kennedy Morris had 27 assists while Cassidy Spatz had 12. Madison Schaar had three aces, and Peters had two.
