ARCANUM – Arcanum’s McKenzie Sharritts tied her program record for 3-pointers in a game as the Arcanum girls basketball team beat Bethel 74-54 on Thursday.
Bethel led 18-15 through one quarter and 31-29 at halftime. Arcanum exploded for 31 points in the third quarter to take a 60-43 lead en route to its 20-point victory.
Sharritts was 6-of-8 from beyond the 3-point line, tying her own school record with six 3-pointers in a game. She finished the night with 22 points.
Stevie Johnting led Arcanum with a game-high 25 points. Also for the Lady Trojans, Kaitlyn Zell scored nine points, Gracie Garno scored seven, Brittany Kinney scored seven, Macey Hartman scored two, and Elle Siculan scored two.
