BRADFORD – Ansonia beat Bradford 70-30 in a Cross County Conference boys basketball game.
Ansonia built a 20-7 first quarter lead and led 39-14 at halftime. The Tigers extended their lead to 51-23 in the third quarter en route to the 40-point victory.
Devyn Sink led Ansonia with a game-high 20 points. Also for the Tigers, Hunter Muir scored 10 points, Brayden Swabb scored 8, Aydan Sanders scored 7, Trevor Alexander scored 6, Lane Clark scored 6, Matthew Farrier scored 2, Kane Kimmel scored 2, Matthew Shook scored 2, and Keith Burk scored 1.
Andy Branson led Bradford with 12 points. Also for the Railroaders, Josh Phillips scored 10 points, Parker Smith scored 4, Johnny Fike scored 2, Walker Branson scored 1, and Jake Barga scored 1.
