BRANDT – Ansonia lost 34-33 in a Cross County Conference girls basketball game at Bethel on Thursday.
Trinity Henderson led Ansonia with 13 points and also had four steals. Jailyn Thwaits added 10 points and five rebounds.
The Lady Tigers fell to 5-7 overall and 2-3 in the CCC with the loss.
Ansonia will return to action on Thursday at Covington for another CCC game.
