COVINGTON – Ansonia lost 52-31 to Covington in a Cross County Conference girls basketball game on Thursday in Covington.
Trinity Henderson led Ansonia with 8 points. Jailyn Thwaits led the Tigers with six rebounds.
Ansonia fell to 5-8 overall and 2-4 in the CCC with the loss. The Tigers will play host to Miami East in a CCC game on Saturday.
