Bradford girls win powerlifting meet at Tri-Village

NEW MADISON – The Bradford girls won the team championship on Saturday at Tri-Village’s powerlifting meet.

Bradford’s girls lifted 3,540 pounds to finish in first place, Bluffton lifted 3,480 to finish second, Northeastern lifted 3,065 to finish third, Tri-Village lifted 2,475 to finish fourth, Kenton Ridge lifted 1,890 to finish fifth, and Shawnee lifted 615 to finish sixth.

Kenton Ridge won the boys portion of the meet by lifting 6,715 pounds, Northeastern finished second by lifting 6,110, Bradford finished third by lifting 5,730, Tri-Village finished fourth by lifting 5,470, Arcanum finished fifth by lifting 5,015, Bluffton finished sixth by lifting 2,925, and Ansonia finished seventh by lifting 1,710.

Bradford’s Hannah Stine won the underclassmen girls 115 pound division by lifting 90 pounds in the bench press and 210 in the deadlift for a total of 300 pounds. Tri-Village’s Clara Buckley finished second by lifting 75 in the bench press and 185 in the deadlift for a total of 260. Bradford’s Oliva Daugherty finished fourth as she lifted 70 in the bench press and 150 in the deadlift for a total of 220. Bradford’s Jenna Shellenbarger finished fifth by lifting 65 in the bench press and 145 in the deadlift for a total of 210. Bradford’s Caroline Gleason finished sixth by lifting 50 in the bench press and 125 in the deadlift for a total of 175. Bradford’s Hannah Lear finished seventh as she lifted 75 in the bench press.

Northeastern’s Shyla Burke won the upperclassmen girls 115 pound class by lifting 95 pounds in the bench press and 205 in the deadlift for a total of 300.

Bradford’s Pam Parke won the underclassmen girls 125 pound class by lifting 70 pounds in the bench press and 195 in the deadlift for a total of 265 pounds. Bradford’s Deja Lear finished second by lifting 90 in the bench press and 115 in the deadlift for a total of 205. Bradford’s Breanna Bixler finished third by lifting 60 in the bench press and 120 in the deadlift for a total of 180 pounds.

Kenton Ridge’s Courtney Longberry won the upperclassmen girls 125 pound class by lifting a meet record 135 pounds in the bench and 255 pounds in the deadlift for a total of 390. Bradford’s Cheyenne Parke finished second by lifting 100 in the bench press and 225 in the deadlift for a total of 325 pounds. Tri-Village’s Katherine Banis lifted 85 in the bench press and 210 in the deadlift for a total of 295, finishing fourth.

Tri-Village’s Natasha Napier won the underclassmen girls 135 pound class by lifting 90 pounds in the bench and 215 in the deadlift for a total of 305. Bradford’s Alivayah Boggs finished second by lifting 75 in the bench press and 190 in the deadlift for a total of 265. Bradford’s Erica Gaynor lifted 80 in the bench and 175 in the deadlift for a total of 255, placing third.

Northeastern’s Alexis Kinder won the upperclassmen girls 135 pound class by lifting 115 in the bench and 220 in the deadlift for a total of 335.

Bradford’s Savannah Penny won the underclassmen girls 145 pound class, lifting 95 in the bench and 230 in the deadlift for a total of 325 pounds. Bradford’s Michele Bixler finished second, lifting a meet record 110 pounds in the bench and 205 in the deadlift for a total of 315. Bradford’s Allyson Grow finished third as she lifted 105 in the bench and 195 in the deadlift for a total of 300. Bradford’s Kat Reineke finished sixth by lifting 70 in the bench and 145 in the deadlift for a total of 215. Bradford’s Faith Henry finished seventh as she lifted 65 in the bench press.

Bluffton’s Shyanne Mortimer won the underclassmen girls 155 pound class as she lifted 120 in the bench and 240 in the deadlift for a total of 360 pounds. Tri-Village’s Holly Back finished second by lifting 110 in the bench and 225 in the deadlift for a total of 335 pounds. Bradford’s Courtney Monnin finished third, lifting 85 in the bench and 200 in the deadlift for a total of 285

Northeastern’s Savanna Richards won the upperclassmen girls 155 pound class by lifting 100 in the bench press and 235 in the deadlift for a total of 335.

Bluffton’s Amelia Mitchell won the underclassmen girls 175 pound class, lifting 110 in the bench and 275 in the deadlift for a total of 385 pounds. Tri-Village’s Lauren Banis finished fourth as she lifted 90 in the bench and 215 in the deadlift for a total of 305. Tri-Village’s Marissa Roark finished fifth by lifting 105 in the bench and 195 in the deadlift for a total of 300 pounds.

Bluffton’s Rameen Omar won the upperclassmen girls 175 pound class by lifting 105 in the bench and 235 in the deadlift for a total of 340.

Kenton Ridge’s Emily Terry won the underclassmen girls 195 pound class as she lifted 75 in the bench and 210 in the deadlift for a total of 285 pounds. Bradford’s Alexis Wackler finished third, lifting 100 in the bench and 150 in the deadlift for a total of 250.

Bluffton’s Chase Koontz won the upperclassmen girls 195 pound class, lifting 140 in the bench and 290 in the deadlift for a total of 430.

Bluffton’s Morgan Nusbaum won the underclassmen girls unlimited class by lifting 140 in the bench and 255 in the deadlift for a total of 395 pounds. Tri-Village’s Cassidy Ditty finished second as she lifted 110 in the bench and 255 in the deadlift for a total of 365. Tri-Village’s Ashley Penny finished third by lifting 95 in the bench press and 215 in the deadlift for a total of 310 pounds. Bradford’s Jennifer Wolf finished fourth, lifting 115 in the bench and 175 in the deadlift for a total of 290 pounds.

Northeastern’s Erica Jones won the upperclassmen girls unlimited class as she lifted 155 in the bench and 345 in the deadlift for a total of 500 pounds. Bradford’s Tatyanna Cotrell finished fourth, lifting 100 in the bench and 260 in the deadlift for a total of 360.

Tri-Village’s Tyler Bragg won the underclassmen boys unlimited class by lifting 175 pounds in the bench press and 330 in the deadlift for a total of 505.

Kenton Ridge’s Dylan Elliot won the upperclassmen boys unlimited class as he lifted 305 in the bench and 515 in the deadlift for a total of 820 pounds. Tri-Village’s Nick Napier finished third by lifting 270 in the bench and 430 in the deadlift for a total of 700. Tri-Village’s Ian Bailey finished sixth, lifting 210 in the bench and 350 in the deadlift for a total of 560 pounds.

Bradford’s Taylor Stine won the underclassmen boys 250 pound class as he lifted 195 in the bench press and 370 in the deadlift for a total of 565 pounds. Bradford’s Jarrett Boggs finished second by lifting 200 in the bench and 360 in the deadlift for a total of 560. Tri-Village’s Elijah Driver finished fourth, lifting 160 in the bench and 315 in the deadlift for a total of 475. Tri-Village’s Trevor Brown finished fifth as he lifted 135 in the bench press and 280 in the deadlift for a total of 415 pounds.

Arcanum’s Caleb Harter won the upperclassmen boys 250 pound class, lifting 265 pounds in the bench press and 515 in the deadlift for a total of 780. Tri-Village’s Dagan White finished fourth by lifting 220 in the bench press and 370 in the deadlift for a total of 590.

Bluffton’s Zavier O’Neal won the underclassmen boys 225 pound class as he lifted meet records of 245 in the bench press and 415 in the deadlift for a total of 660 pounds.

Northeastern’s Logan Vermillion won the upperclassmen boys 225 pound class by lifting 710 pounds, including 435 pounds in the deadlift and a meet record 275 in the bench press. Arcanum’s Alex Weiss finished second as he lifted 240 in the bench press and 375 in the deadlift for a total of 615.

Northeastern’s Chase Reed won the underclassmen boys 195 pound class by lifting 155 in the bench and 300 in the deadlift for a total of 455 pounds. Bradford’s Brant Helman finished second as he lifted 135 in the bench and 245 in the deadlift for a total of 380. Tri-Village’s Chance Davis finished third, lifting 120 in the bench press and 255 in the deadlift for a total of 375 pounds.

Northeastern’s Drake McCombs won the underclassmen boys 185 pound class by lifting 180 in the bench and 350 in the deadlift for a total of 530 pounds. Bradford’s Zach Lee finished fourth by lifting 140 in the bench and 300 in the deadlift for a total of 440 pounds. Tri-Village’s Dylan Holsapple finished fifth as he lifted 160 in the bench and 280 in the deadlift for a total of 440.

Bradford’s Hunter Penkal won the upperclassmen boys 185 pound class as he lifted 235 in the bench and 380 in the deadlift for a total of 615 pounds. Ansonia’s Rygh Fortkamp finished second by lifting 185 in the bench and 320 in the deadlift for a total of 615. Arcanum’s Dylan Filbrun finished third, lifting 185 in the bench and 320 in the deadlift for a total of 505. Bradford’s Kaleb Addington finished fifth as he lifting 155 in the bench and 245 in the deadlift for a total of 400 pounds.

Northeastern’s Zach Currier won the underclassmen boys 175 pound class by lifting 245 in the bench press and 410 in the deadlift for a total of 655 pounds. Tri-Village’s Brian Johnson finished third by lifting 105 in the bench and 235 in the deadlift for a total of 340. Tri-Village’s Nick Varvel finished fourth as he lifted 95 in the bench and 220 in the deadlift for a total of 315. Bradford’s Lawrence Farmer lifted 100 in the bench press and 165 in the deadlift to finish fifth with a total of 265 pounds.

Arcanum’s Dan Coats won the upperclassmen boys 175 pound class as he lifted 285 in the bench and 475 in the deadlift for a total of 760 pounds. Ansonia’s Zach Longenecker finished third by lifting 205 in the bench press and 315 in the deadlift for a total of 520 pounds.

Bradford’s Larkin Painter won the underclassmen boys 165 pound class, lifting 175 pounds in the bench press and 365 in the deadlift for a total of 540. Tri-Village’s Cody Eyer finished second as he lifted 155 in the bench and 280 in the deadlift for a total of 435. Bradford’s Adam Wilt finished fifth by lifting 120 in the bench and 225 in the deadlift for a total of 345 pounds. Bradford’s Dane Shelton finished sixth as he lifted 75 in the bench press and 120 in the deadlift for a total of 195.

Arcanum’s Isaiah Baker won the upperclassmen 165 pound class by lifting 270 in the bench and 500 in the deadlift for a total of 770 pounds. Bradford’s Bryson Canan finished second as he lifted 230 in the bench and 325 in the deadlift for a total of 555 pounds. Bradford’s Clayton Layman finished fourth, lifting 175 in the bench press and 315 in the deadlift for a total of 490 pounds.

Northeastern’s Ty Adams won the underclassmen boys 155 pound division by lifting 190 in the bench press and 340 in the deadlift for a total of 530 pounds. Tri-Village’s Hunter Gillett finished third as he lifted 125 in the bench and 230 in the deadlift for a total of 355. Tri-Village’s Willie Strunk finished fourth by lifting 115 in the bench and 225 in the deadlift for a total of 340. Bradford’s Jared Shellenbarger finished fifth by lifting 120 in the bench press and 215 in the deadlift for a total of 335. Bradford’s Joey Brussell finished seventh, lifting 95 in the bench and 185 in the deadlift for a total of 280.

Arcanum’s Ethan Baker won the upperclassmen 155 pound class as he lifted 265 in the bench and 365 in the deadlift for a total of 630. Ansonia’s Trevor Beam finished third by lifting 240 in the bench and 335 in the deadlift for a total of 575. Arcanum’s Matthew Todd finished fourth, lifting 200 in the bench press and 370 in the deadlift for a total of 570.

Arcanum’s Paul Barga won the underclassmen 145 pound class, lifting 135 in the bench press and 250 in the deadlift.

Kenton Ridge’s Drew Clawson won the upperclassmen 145 pound class as he lifted 215 in the bench and 405 in the deadlift for a total of 620. Bradford’s Jordan Shellenbarger finished second by lifting 155 in the bench and 250 in the deadlift for a total of 405.

Northeastern’s Deric King won the underclassmen 135 pound class by lifting 120 in the bench and 320 in the deadlift for a total of 440 pounds. Bradford’s Dylan Mitchell finished second by lifting 125 in the bench and 220 in the deadlift for a total of 345. Bradford’s Keaton Mead finished third as he lifted 105 in the bench and 215 in the deadlift for a total of 320. Bradford’s Hunter Hill finished fourth by lifting 100 in the bench and 180 in the deadlift for a total of 280.

Tri-Village’s Aaron Stewart won the upperclassmen 135 pound class as he lifted 170 in the bench and 310 in the deadlift for a total of 480.

Kenton Ridge’s Brenden Conley won the underclassmen 125 pound class by lifting 155 in the bench and 230 in the deadlift for a total of 385. Tri-Village’s Josh Sims finished second, lifting 125 in the bench press and 225 in the deadlift for a total of 350.

Bradford’s Kyle Kissinger won the underclassmen boys 115 pound class as he lifted 125 in the bench and 195 in the deadlift for a total of 320 pounds. Tri-Village’s Foster Brown finished second by lifting 85 in the bench and 220 in the deadlift for a total of 305. Bradford’s Trevin Felver finished third as he lifted 80 in the bench and 150 in the deadlift for a total of 230 pounds. Bradford’s Cadan Jay finished fourth by lifting 55 in the bench press and 135 in the deadlift for a total of 190 pounds.
